CONCORD, N.H. (AP) - The New Hampshire Lottery has broken its all-times sales record.
It has surpassed $278.7 million in total sales for fiscal year 2013. That's a 10 percent increase over the last fiscal year.
The previous sales record was $265 million in fiscal year 2007.
Sales for Powerball tickets alone have gone up 40 percent over last year.
During fiscal year 2013, the lottery awarded more than $170 million in prizes.
