DOVER, Vt. (AP) - A renovated airport in the Vermont town of Dover also has a new name.
The former Mount Snow Airport - now called the Deerfield Valley Airport - has a repaved runway and an improved terminal building. Work on the hangar buildings toward the end of the runway has started. A ribbon-cutting was held over the weekend.
The Bennington Banner reports the airport, purchased a month ago by the Hermitage Realty Estate Holding Company, has partnered with Tradewind Aviation, which provides shuttles in eight-passenger planes.
