ST. ALBANS, Vt. (AP) - A design advisory board in the Vermont city of St. Albans has approved plans for a proposed state office building and a municipal parking garage.
The board also approved the demolition of the Rail City Salon building, which would be needed for the parking garage.
The plans approved Monday now go to the city's development review board on Aug. 12.
The garage will have five levels and 370 spaces.
The St. Albans Messenger reports the four-store office building will connect to the garage via a bridge.
