A Vermont man who recently made news
for trying to help NSA leaker Edward Snowden has died.
Last week, we interviewed Garry Davis
about his offer to send Snowden a "world passport" to help him get
out of international limbo at the Moscow airport.
Two days after our interview, Davis
went into hospice care. He died Wednesday.
Six decades ago, Davis declared
himself a "citizen of the world" and set up the World Service
Authority to issue passports under the utopian belief that national borders
should not restrict people's movements.
