Police in Burlington say a man was viciously beaten in an early morning attack.
It happened near the intersection of North St. And Murray St. At around 3 a.m. Sunday. Police say a 26-year-old man was found bleeding from the head.
Witnesses say the suspect is a slim black man -- wearing grey shorts, a dark hooded sweatshirt -- and reflective shoes.
Channel 3 spoke to the woman who called 9-1-1 after seeing the victim lying in the road.
"I was scared cause I didn't know if he was going to, die out here or whatever you know just because of the condition he was in you know. Looked like he had major head wounds," explained Lauren Healy.
