Practice continued in Castleton today as Vermont and New Hampshire get set to meet in the 60th annual Shrine Maple Sugar Bowl Saturday night at 5:50 at Dartmouth's Memorial Field.
Sixty is a nice round number, but the number that is most important to players on both sides is twelve. New Hampshire has won twelve straight Shrine Games, often winning by wide margins. This New Hampshire team doesn't want to be the one that ends the streak while the Vermont players would like nothing more than to prevent lucky or unlucky 13.
