"Really we have
everything from collectible items, baseball and NASCAR items to foreign
currency," said Vt. State Police Det. Cpl. Christopher Campbell.
Investigators are still
sorting through a treasure trove of allegedly stolen loot.
Raymond Ritchie, 37, of
Addison, is currently behind bars charged with three counts of trespassing and
possession of stolen goods. Police say his rap sheet is extensive.
They say witnesses to
burglaries committed within the past month gave them a description of Ritchie's
vehicle, and later ID'd him in a lineup, leading police to request a search
"Once we got in there
we realized it was a much bigger search," Vt. State Police Det. Kevin Lane
It's unclear how many of
Addison County's 103 burglaries Ritchie may be responsible for, but the volume
of evidence suggests more charges are coming.
"We'll have to go
through and review all the cases we've investigated from the beginning of the
year, and one by one we'll try to compare what jewelry we have to the victims
we have," Vt. State Police Lt. Gary Genova said.
Nicole Burgos, 29, of Addison, faces a marijuana cultivation charge for eight
plants found at the shared home. She has not been charged with theft at this
