A Vermont group of immigrant and refugee teens are traveling to the United Nations.
The Diversity Rocks International Youth Group gives immigrant and refugee teens a community in a new place. The group is a youth run organization in Burlington. Its mission is to empower, educate and support former refugees and immigrant youth and young adults. The UN selected Diversity Rocks to represent Vermont for International Peace Day. Now, the teens are trying to make their way to New York City.
