KEENE, N.H. (AP) - Police have charged a man with assaulting an officer in Keene, N.H.
Police said 23-year-old Justin Robinson became involved in an altercation with the officer early Thursday, assaulted him and ran away. The officer wasn't hurt and later was granted an arrest warrant on Robinson.
Police found Robinson at his home late Thursday. They said he refused to leave and threatened to take his own life with a long, kitchen-type knife.
Police were able to maintain contact with Robinson, who ultimately left his home without incident.
Robinson was being arraigned Friday on assault and other charges. It was not immediately known if he had a lawyer.
