NEWPORT, N.H. (AP) - A 47-year-old Claremont man has admitted he killed a friend by running him over with his pickup truck last year.
David Carrier has pleaded guilty to manslaughter in the April 7, 2012 death of Arthur Desilets.
Prosecutors say Carrier killed the 45-year-old Desilets by hitting him with his Dodge Ram truck at Desilets' home in Claremont because he thought Desilets was in a relationship with his estranged wife.
Carrier, who has used a wheelchair since a 2007 car accident, was originally charged with manslaughter then the charges were increased to two counts of second-degree murder.
Carrier, who pleaded guilty on Friday, was sentenced to 15 to 30 years in prison.
