Vermont native Keegan Bradley, the 2011 PGA Tour Rookie of the year and a star of the 2012 U.S. Ryder Cup team, returned to the Woodstock Inn & Resort Monday to host his second annual Charity Golf Classic. This year, Bradley brought along fellow PGA Tour winner Brendan Steele. There was also a new target for this year's fundraising. The event raised at least $120,000 to benefit the Pediatric Cancer Research Foundation and Vermont Children's Hospital at Fletcher Allen.
"We're proud to support Vermont causes and children's cancer is an important one," Bradley said. "Our outing last year was a great success and we hope to have as much fun and raise
even more money for children's cancer research this year."
The day began with a free golf clinic with Bradley and Steele. An autograph session followed, then the contributing twenty six foursomes took to the course for a round on the golf course. Bradley and Steele made visited the groups, hitting balls and taking photos. The day concluded with a reception and auction.
