A sex offender who initially avoided jail time is now behind bars after allegedly denying he committed the crime.
Jonathan Houle, 32, of Norton, pleaded no contest to felony charges of child sex abuse and received a suspended sentence. He was required to admit to the crime and undergo sex offender treatment.
But according to the Caledonian-Record newspaper, Houle now denies the offense and refused to pay for the treatment. So, Houle is back in jail and prosecutors say he could be required to serve his entire 2-15 year sentence.
