BURLINGTON, Vt. -

The University of Vermont is responding to a racy Craigslist posting that claims ties to campus.

The advertisement surfaced on the popular website earlier this week.

It claims to be an ad from 10 UVM students looking for an attractive older woman to cook for them.

In exchange for cooking, the ad says the woman can have sex with the men.

UVM officials are calling it "ill-advised" and "offensive." Students on campus agreed.

"Being a Burlington, South Burlington resident, it's just kind of shocking," student Ethan Jones said.

Daniella Simpatico, another student, agreed, "Overall I think the vibe from UVM is really accepting and outgoing and not like that.

UVM Police worked with Craigslist to have the ad taken down. They are now trying to determine who is behind the posting and whether any laws were broken.
