RUTLAND, Vt. (AP) - A 45-year-old Vermont woman is going to prison for 15 months after pleading guilty to drug trafficking charges.
The U.S. Attorney's office says Annette Rider conspired with Darlene Palmer, both of Rutland, to distribute heroin and crack cocaine in Rutland during the spring 2011.
Prosecutors say that during that time agents with the Vermont Drug Task Force made several controlled purchases of heroin and crack from Rider and Palmer.
The two were indicted last summer and arrested last September.
Palmer was sentenced in June to 20 months in prison.
