A Lyndonville couple is a million dollars richer. Randy and Sandy Amadon were lucky winners in last Wednesday's Powerball drawing.
They got the five regular numbers right -- 2, 9, 26, 45 and 47. They did not have the right Powerball, so they missed out on the 200-million dollar jackpot. The Amadon's told Vermont lottery officials they've been playing the same numbers for ten years. And this time it paid off. The Amadon's said they don't have any immediate plans for their million dollar prize.
