Monday night was a night to celebrate survivors.
Two dozen breast cancer survivors turned out to get dressed up and model for a special fundraiser on Church Street. This is the sixth year the group has come together for a fashion show and dinner at the Leunig's restaurant. The event allows the women to share their stories and raise money for a good cause.
Betsy Conlon and Peggy Blanchette are sisters -- and breast cancer survivors.
"We have done so much together. We are very close and we just thought, let's go down, let's walk across, let's be together. It's a scary thing but I have had nothing but blessings from it," Conlon said.
"We have such good care and so many people love us and support us and care for us, and we just keep going," Blanchette said.
The event raises tens of thousands of dollars ever year. This year's proceeds go to the Vermont Cancer Network.
