Americans are marking the 12th anniversary of the Sept. 11 attacks today.
At the border crossing in Champlain, N.Y., this morning, law enforcement agents from both the U.S. and Canada joined in a remembrance ceremony focused on the first responders killed on 9/11 and the efforts of authorities in the war on terror since then.
The ceremony included officers laying a wreath and flowers at the base of the border crossing flagpole which was flying flags flown in Afghanistan and Iraq.
