BRATTLEBORO, Vt. -

A jury has been seated in the case of a nursing home worker accused of murder.

The Rutland Herald reports that Tuesday, a 10-woman, six-man jury was selected for the Jodi LaClaire case.

LaClaire is accused of killing a nursing home patient last year at the Thompson House in Brattleboro. Prosecutors say she injected Nita Lowery, 83, with insulin. Lowery was never prescribed insulin. She died of a massive brain injury, which experts say was a result of the insulin. Prosecutors say LaClaire used Lowery's credit card while she was in a coma and after she died.

Trial is expected to last three weeks.
