3 targeted in Vt. drug sweep turn themselves in

Posted: Updated:

ST. ALBANS, Vt. (AP) - Vermont State Police say three people who were targeted in a big drug sweep in Franklin County have turned themselves in to authorities.

Law enforcement officials arrested 35 people on drug charges Tuesday.

Vermont State Police say three women sought by authorities turned themselves in by Wednesday afternoon. They're charged with selling narcotics.

The drug sweep came after a six-month investigation. Two other drugs sweeps have been held in Bennington and Rutland so far this year.
