Some products seem so simple, yet so genius. Case in point, the Post-it note.
The decades old product lets people remind themselves of tasks with bright colored sticky paper to post anywhere.
In this digital age, paper and pens have become an item of the past . However, daily reminders are still needed. Now, Post-it has found its own way into cellphones by way of an app called Evernote. This is a new partnership that lets users save notes and even audio files on their phones and access them across all of their devices.
The latest version of this app came out this week. It also includes the Post-it note camera. This is only available to iOS7 users. It allows users to take a picture of their handwritten Post-it note and save it directly onto a cellphone by first uploading it to Evernote. Users can organize their notes according to color and category.
Even though there is an app for Post-it, the paper note will not disappear. The company 3-M which makes Post-it note sells more than 50 billion Post-its each year.
