WATERBURY, Vt. (AP) - Vermont State Police say two Waterbury students are facing assault charges after a fight at the Thatcher Brook Primary School in Waterbury.
Police were called to the school just before 8 a.m. Friday after receiving a report that a student had been threatened with a knife.
As police were headed to the school it was reported that the same two students were involved in a physical altercation.
Police say David King, 18, threatened Joseph Gates, 17, with a knife. The two were then involved in a fight in which Gates suffered a minor head injury.
The two students were planning to take a bus at the elementary school to Harwood Union High School.
Both were cited to appear in court in November.
It's unclear if they have lawyers.
