Vermont State Police are investigating what appears to be the untimely death of a man in Wallingford.
It happened shortly after 1 p.m. Vermont State Police responded to a home on Sugar Hill Road in Wallingford for medical assistance. Upon arrival, a 53-year-old female patient was transported the hospital for treatment. A 50-year-old male was pronounced dead at the scene.
Early scanner reports said that one of the victims was foaming at the mouth, but police have not confirmed any details. Neighbors also say that gun shots were heard early Monday morning, but police say the death was not from a gun shot. Police say the death appears to be an isolated incident and that there is no concern for public safety at this time.
