BURLINGTON, Vt. -

These Vermont Tourism activities offer great spots for the weekend of Oct. 4 to Oct. 7 and throughout the month.

Of Land & Local
Shelburne Farms will host Of Land & Local, an exhibition designed to initiate dialogue about the Vermont landscape: Vermonters' shared history in land and pride for local lay the groundwork for this exhibition, featuring works from 28 international and Vermont-based artists. October 4- 20.

Deep Space Night, Hubbardton
Come for sunset and prime foliage views and watch the landscape shift into darkness. The Deep Space Night show stars the constellations, planets, meteor showers and satellites. The Green Mountain Alliance of Amateur Astronomers share their telescopes and knowledge. Bring blankets, flashlights, binoculars or telescopes if you like. The marshmallows are on us. http://historicsites.vermont.gov/events/hubbardton/deep_space_night

The Crafts Council has a map available at Vermont welcome centers and galleries, or just follow the yellow signs along the roads that highlight designated open studio locations.
