Teen arrested for school threats pleads guilty to lesser charge

Posted: Updated:

A Milton teenager who had been accused of threatening to shoot up his school and rape a teacher has pleaded guilty to a lesser charge.

Landon Dusablon, 17, was one of two teens arrested in April. Police were investigating an alleged armed robbery when they stumbled across a Facebook conversation. Police say the two boys discussed plans for a shooting spree and sexually assaulting a teacher.

Dusablon was charged with inciting a felony and assault and robbery.

Friday, he pleaded guilty to the reduced charge of simple assault and received an 18-month deferred sentence.

The teen told the judge about his night behind bars.

"Terrifying, I guess," Dusablon said. "It was really scary. I was the only one who was underage there and they had me strip-searched."

As part of the deal, Dusablon will have to earn his high school diploma as well. If he successfully fulfills the terms of the agreement the incident will be expunged from his record.
