A Legendary scientist and former University of Vermont professor who helped document air pollution damage on Camel's Hump, has died.

Hubert "Hub" Vogelmann gain notoriety for a 1982 article in "Natural History" called "Catastrophe on Camel's Hump." He was a educator, botanist, and known as the soul of the Vermont Conservation movement. Vogelmann was 84-years-old.
