NORTHFIELD, Vt. -

One university is helping with student financial aid that is in jeopardy due to the federal government shutdown.

Norwich University is awarding almost $150,000 in scholarships to military students affected by the shutdown. This money is meant to help students whose financial aid depends on the military tuition assistance program. Some of those students are enrolled in this semester's bachelor and graduate degree online programs.
