NEWPORT, N.H. -

A dog that was rescued from Iraq has now been rescued from a house fire.

We first told you about "Hero" back in 2007 when she was brought to Newport, N.H., to live with Skip and Rhonda Rollins. The Rollins' son, Army Specialist Justin Rollins, 22, was killed in a bomb blast shortly after adopting the puppy.

Tuesday night, the Rollins' home caught fire. No one was home, but firefighters were able to rescue Hero, along with another dog and two cats.
