If you're looking for a festive way to get active today, sign the whole family up for the Monster Dash 5K Run/Walk & Goblin Gallop Kids Fun Run at the Medicine Horse Farm in Morrisonville. Runners dressed in themed costumes attempt to outrun zombies who attempt to steal their issued flag belts as they navigate a race course through the woods. All proceeds go to benefit the Medicine Horse Farm therapeutic programs.

The Billings Farm and Museum continues their scenic tours with narrated horse-drawn wagon rides throughout their farms today at the 7th Annual Autumn Wagon Ride Weekend. The rides travel through the scenic foliage to the dairy farm and restored and furnished farmhouse. Guests can also partake in farm life exhibits and cider pressing.

The New Haven Farm and Food Festival has something for everyone this afternoon at Tourterelle Restaurant. From noon to 3pm, farmers and food producers present diverse selections of food for sampling and purchase. Hayrides and a petting zoo are sure to keep the kids entertained while adults also enjoy live music and other themed activities.

Get your taste buds going with the third annual Stowe Restaurant Week, a praised celebration of local fare, which kicks off today and runs through next Saturday, Oct. 26th. Treat yourself and the family to lunch or dinner at one of Stowe's fourteen participating restaurants.
Check out the creative vision of a new type of farmer's market at the Barnstand Collective in Marshfield. Local produce and food are on display but also alongside handmade clothing, upcycled, and vintage furniture.
