Patients at CHaD, the Children's Hospital at Dartmouth, are turning into internet sensations.
Tuesday, we showed you the lip-sync video they made, singing along with Katy Perry's song "Roar." The video had 70,000 views on YouTube Tuesday. By Wednesday, it has more than half a million. And by Thursday afternoon, it had reached nearly 1.2 million views.
The video was created to say thanks for a successful fundraiser of the weekend.
"I'm going to give credit to our child life team. I don't know exactly which focus it moved so fast. Sharon Brown is our director of community relations who shepherded it through and we have wonderful volunteers in the video production realm who all within the realm of 10 to 12 days and said come just do this video with us," said Keith Loud, the interim director of CHaD.
Two of the stars in the video who we spoke with Tuesday, Meghan Richardson and Maggie Philbrook, appeared on CNN with Piers Morgan Wednesday.
