PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. (AP) - Jury selection is set to begin for the first of three trials for a state trooper accused of raping or attempting to rape three women in northern New York.
The Press-Republican of Plattsburgh reports that jury selection for Trevor Donah's first trial is scheduled to begin Tuesday in Clinton County Court in Plattsburgh.
The 32-year-old was arrested in February after two women said he had attacked them. Less than a week later, a third woman came forward and said he had also attacked her.
The charges against the five-year veteran of the state police include rape, attempted rape, sexual abuse and unlawful imprisonment.
Authorities say the crimes occurred between 2008 and 2012 while Donah was off duty and involved women he knew.
