More fuel dealers are saying "no" to the state when it comes to helping low income Vermonters this winter.
Last week WCAX reported that two dealers, complaining about the prices set for fuel purchased with LIHEAP checks, pulled out of the program. Richard Moffi, the state's fuel assistance director, now says about a dozen companies have told the state they will not take part. That will effect about 1,400 customers. They now have to find a new supplier who will accept LIHEAP funds.
