Committing to Colleges

Posted: Updated:

Standout CVU distance runner Autumn Eastman has committed to attend Georgetown next year.  The Hoyas field one of the top women's cross country programs in the country and are currently ranked third in the nation.  Eastman is coming off a dominant win at the Vermont High School Cross Country Championships and will be one of the top contenders at the New England Championships this Saturday in Manchester, New Hampshire.

Fellow Redhawk Rayne Supple has committed to attend Wake Forest in the Fall of 2015 to play baseball for the Demon Deacons.  As both a pitcher and corner infielder and outfielder, Supple helped lead CVU to a second straight Division One baseball title last  spring. He also hopes to play for the Vermont Mountaineers in the summer of 2016 after his first season at Wake Forest.
