Richmond Elementary Farm to School invites you to celebrate local farms and food at the Fourth Annual Harvest Festival at the Monitor Barn in Richmond from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. They have loads of activities including grinding grain, blending bike-powered smoothies, making pizza, creating seed art. There will be live music with Loggerhead (11 to 1) and the Peterman-Sheldon Duo (1 to 3).


The Lamoille Obstacle Race benefits the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Vermont. Sign up starts at 8:30 at Lamoille Union High School with the race at 10 a.m.


Tony the Mailman and Kia hold an annual Turkey Drive to benefit the Waterbury Area Food Shelf. Their goal is to collect 300 turkeys. That goes from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at WDEV.


The Island Harvest Pie Milonga is happening in North Hero, With Argentine tango dancers and homemade pies for sale supporting renovations at the North Hero Community Hall. That's from 7 p.m. to 1 a.m.


The Waitsfield School opens its doors to eager gear shoppers at 9:00 AM on Saturday, November 9th for the 34th annual Waitsfield Ski & Skate Sale. Sponsored by Sugarbush and Mad River Glen, this important Waitsfield Elementary School fundraiser. That's Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. For more information, visit Waitsfieldschool.org.


The Cumberland Bay Barbershop Chorus out of Plattsburgh is holding their annual show. It's titled "Jammin' with Bob Brooks." Brooks has been in the barbershop for more than 50 years and the show is a tribute to his contributions. They'll relive some of the songs he has sung over the years. That's at 7 p.m. at the Glenn Glitz Auditorium, Hawkins Hall at SUNY Plattsburgh.
