Lyndon, searching for just it's second state title in school history, took a 7-0 lead on a Deryck Colburn 45 yard touchdown run in the first quarter.

Rice answers with 27 straight points, a pair of touchdown runs from Jansen, including a 45 yarder, and a 75 yard touchdown pass from Jansen to Tommy Fitzgerald to take a 27-7 third quarter lead.

The Vikings battled back and Davis Guyer's touchdown run cuts the lead to 27-21.
