It's quickly becoming the non-call heard around Vermont high school football.
In Saturday's Division Three State Championship game between Woodstock & Mill River, Wasps running back Tom Baumann appeared to have fumbled the ball into the end zone down six in overtime. It would have would have been a game-ending touchback.
Instead, he was ruled out of bounds. Woodstock eventually scored winning the game 20-19.
However, Channel 3 learned Sunday that Mill River has contacted the Vermont Principal's Association and will now protest the game. The school is citing the non-call as the basis of their argument.
We've reached out to both sides regarding this matter, and will have more details, tonight at 6 p.m.
