An investigation into an inmate's suicide will be released Tuesday.
WCAX News obtained a copy of the report prepared by the prisoners' rights office. It offers recommendations to the Corrections Department following the death of inmate Robert Mossey. He hanged himself in a supply closet in the state prison in Newport in August.
The report recommends a review of the department's policies on locking doors, staffing numbers and having inmates clean up the scene of a prison suicide. It also calls for an investigation into mental health care offered to Mossey before his death.
