Investigators still are not sure what sparked a massive fire in Plattsburgh this weekend.

The fire at Schluter Systems drew 33 calls to 911 Saturday. 19 fire departments battled the blaze. The warehouse could not be saved. The fire did at least a million dollars in damage -- much of it to inventory belonging to a company affiliate -- but firefighters stopped the flames from spreading to Schluter's main manufacturing building.

"It was because of their diligent professional response. Not only were they quick but they were perfect on site and they saved our production facility," said the company's CJ Madonna.

"We've done training with the facility. Just three weeks ago we did a walk through of the facility and did some training with them so the layout of the building was familiar to us," said Plattsburgh Fire Chief Jeff Santor.

The Company makes ceramic tile installation systems. It employs around 200 people in Plattsburgh. Company officials say that employment and service to customers won't be effected.
