The man behind a forest fire in Mount Tabor has pleaded guilty.
Jack Dickson of Rutland admitted to setting a 2012 fire at the Green Mountain National Forest without permission.
He also pleaded guilty to leaving the scene without extinguishing the fire and to damaging government property.
The fire wiped out 6 acres.
Dickson was hit with a number of fines including $1,500 to cover firefighting costs.
He has also been banned from national forests for 2 years.
