Vermont to subsidize new bus routes

Posted: Updated:
MONTPELIER, Vt. -

Vermonters will soon have more commercial bus service subsidized by taxpayers.

The Transportation Agency says beginning this winter Premier Coach and Greyhound will offer new routes from Burlington to Albany, N.Y., from Rutland to White River, and White River to Springfield, Mass.

VTrans says the new routes will work with other bus, rail and plane services to give Vermonters more connectivity.
