The so-called Road to Nowhere moved forward Tuesday.
Burlington Mayor Miro Weinberger announced the city has settled with a major opponent to the Champlain Parkway. The city now has two more appeals pending before it can secure its final Act 250 permit.
If approved, the project would connect the city's south end and Pine Street corridor with Interstate-189. The project has been in the works for nearly half a century. It was previously known as the Southern Connector.
