The Vermont health exchange website was down for much of the day Thursday. And that's with less than a week before businesses must determine how they'll move forward.
Health Access Commissioner Mark Larson says Vermont Health Connect was down as they implemented a series of fixes for the buggy site. He said the changes include clarifications to confusing questions, website performance and better functionality of comparison tools.
"We're very excited about the improvements we've made today," Larson said. "A very visible one is that many Vermonters who get their coverage through the employer who has been working to select their plan should have a much clearer path to selecting their plan."
Larson says they had more successful plan selections than usual Thursday.
The site was back up by Thursday evening. If you're having trouble with the site, they recommend rebooting the browser.
