CANAAN, Vt. (AP) - Vermont state police say speed and alcohol both appear to be factors in a crash that killed a Canaan man.
Police say 51-year-old Randall Riley was southbound on Route 102 in Canaan at 12:45 a.m. Sunday when he lost control of his truck on the icy road. The truck went off the road and hit a culvert before rolling over.
Riley was not wearing a seatbelt. The investigation continues.
