Help needy families and keep people warm -- that's the idea behind a effort at the Community Health Centers of Burlington.
The organization kicked off its first Annual Holiday Winter Clothing Drive. It's accepting both new and used items, as well as breast feeding pumps and other infant supplies. All donations will go to homeless and low income patients.
"Winter gear is expensive, so I think it's a great time of year to raise awareness about the struggles people have during this time to find proper clothing," said Destenie Vigal, the drive's organizer.
Donated items can be dropped off at any of the community health centers' locations until December 23rd.
