UVM students are using a fashion statement as a way to raise money for non-profits in our region. This group of friends started Borue.org to sell t-shirts. But the net profits are not going toward books. Instead they'll go to a different non-profit every month. The group buys 24 t-shirts a month and uses half the money to keep the business going. This month, the other half will go to the global healthcare group -Watsi.
"The message and the idea behind these shirts, we try to help someone else, raise awareness about a cause. And through that you make a purposeful purchase." said Mushtaba Yuridullah, website founder.
