World Cup Watch - Group G Breakdown

Posted: Updated:

There will be storylines aplenty for the U.S. men's national team when it kicks off World Cup play next June in Brazil.

The Yanks wound up in arguably the toughest group when the draw for the World Cup took place Friday. The U.S. is in Group G with Germany, Portugal and Ghana.

Germany is a perennial Cup favorite. Portugal features one of the top players in the world in Cristiano Ronaldo. Ghana, might be the most frustrating of the opponents, having knocked the American's out of the tournament in each of the last two World Cups.

In tonight's World Cup Watch, Mike McCune breaks down the draw for the U.S. with our analyst, Capital Soccer coach Craig Stone.
