PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. -

SUNY Plattsburgh announced Friday morning it's no longer recognizing Alpha Chi Rho fraternity. The university is ordering the embattled organization to cease all operations. And the fraternity at Plattsburgh State has been suspended by its national organization.

This comes after a fight at the frat that has multiple PSU students facing assault charges. The fight started during a confrontation about an alleged date rape that may have taken place at the house.

Thursday, city police made a third arrest. Jake Feldman, 20, faces second-degree assault charges. Two other students were arrested earlier this week, Luiz Munoz, 21, and Nicholas Simmons, 20. Both face assault charges.

The sexual assault allegation remains under investigation.
