Posted: Updated:
SPRINGFIELD, Vt. -

A reported gang member with a lengthy arrest record struck a plea deal Friday in connection with a shooting in downtown Springfield.

Terrick Craft, 29, was sentenced to 8-to-15 years after he pleaded no contest to aggravated assault, providing false information to police and attempting to obstruct justice. In turn, the state dismissed the attempted second-degree murder count and a host of other charges. The charges were filed after Craft fired at least four shots at Nick Brown in July 2012.
