Step back in time to the 1870s and explore the birthplace of of America's 30th president. Crafts, sleigh rides, kids activities, music and presentations take place all day starting at 10 a.m. at the President Calvin Coolidge State Historic Site in Plymouth.
In Orange County, there's a Holiday Artisans Bazaar with more than 40 regional artisans and specialty food producers. That's at the Chandler Gallery in Randolph from 12-3 p.m.
"IT'S A WONDERFUL LIFE"
'It's a Wonderful Life' is being put on by the Lamoille County Players' at the Hyde Park Opera House. That's at 2 p.m.
The Moretown Artisans' Sale starts at eleven this morning at Moretown Elementary School. You can get photos with santa from noon to 2pm and they're free! That runs 11 a.m.-4 p.m.
Folks flock to Woodstock for the annual Woodstock Wassail Weekend, a three-day fête including a craft fair, a home tour, and theater and musical performances. That's from 10 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
11:30-2:30 at the Inn at Baldwin Creek & Mary's Restaurant. The 31st annual holiday dinner and festival for friends and neighbors is always free. Donations are welcome, both in-kind and/or monetary, for this free event. Please call for more information or to donate to this benefit.
The Mad River Chorale is presenting "Rejoice and Be Merry: Songs of the Season". That's at 7:30 p.m. in the Waitsfield United Church and Sunday at 4 p.m. in the Warren United Church. Tickets are $15 for adults, $12 for seniors/students, and children under 11 are free. There is a $1.00 discount if you bring an item for the food shelf. Vermont Symphony Orchestra Holiday Pops is December 15th, 2013 3:00 pm - Paramount Theatre, Rutland. The theme is "Around the World at Christmastime" and features favorites from Russia, England, France, the Ukraine, and even Brazil.
The Brownsville Community Sing-Along is December 15 at the Brownsville Community Church. Volunteers from the Jennifer Bell Music Education Fund will lead the sing-along from 2-3 p.m. That will be followed by traditional caroling from 3-4 p.m. Stops include in front of the town hall, the general store, and the lobby of the Holiday Inn Cat the Ascutney Mountain Resort, as well as various homes in the town. The Brownsville Community Church is located on the Brownsville-Hartland Road, next to the Brownsville Town Hall.
