Continuing our Channel 3 Cheer segments, weekend morning show anchor Julie Kelley and her mom, Judy, show us how to make their famous meatballs.
Julie's famous meatballs ( ... And Mom's too!)
2 pounds ground meat
Italian seasoned bread crumbs ... Enough for meat to hold together (about 1/4 cup-1/2 cup)
Mix it together. Roll out meatballs. Julie says to a golf ball size, and her mother says a ping pong ball size.
2 jars grape jelly
2 jars Heinz chili sauce
Bring grape jelly to a low boil in a large pot on the stove top. Add chili sauce. Add raw meatballs. Turn temp down to medium/medium low & cover. Meatballs will cook in the sauce. Serve from the pot. ENJOY!
