Williston car dealership donates to schools

WILLISTON, Vt. -

A Williston car dealership is letting some local schools drive off with some money.

Berlin City Auto Group just donated more than $42,000 to schools in New England, including nine Vermont schools. It's part of the company's Drive for Education program.

The money will be used for anti-bullying initiatives, new equipment and education programs. The Vermont schools that won the grants are:

 

  • Braintree Elementary School in Randolph
  • Dothan Brook School in Sheldon
  • Edmunds Elementary School in Burlington
  • Fairfield Center School in Fairfield
  • Franklin Center School in Franklin
  • Richmond Elementary in Richmond
  • Rick Marcotte Central School in South Burlington
  • Winooski Middle School in Winooski
  • St. Albans Town Education Center in St. Albans

 

Each Vermont school got up to $3,500.
